• Building byelaws.
• Licences for trade.
• Regarding the meeting of Cantt. Board.
• Registration and Control of Dogs.
• Registration of Births and Deaths.
• Slaughter of Animals.
• Regarding the Traffic.
• The manner in which the vehicles can stand.
• The administration of the Cantonment.
• Prohibiting the cutting or damaging trees.

Gazette-Notification Dated 06.06.2008

   S.R.O. No. 9 (E) - In pursuance of sub-section (8) of section 12 of the Cantonments Act 206 (41 of 2006), the Central Government hereby notifies the election of the following members at the ordinary election held in respect of the Cantonment Board Varanasi on 18th May, 2008 as notified under section 15 (1) of the Act, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 4 dated the 26th February, 2008 vide number S.R.O. 04 (E) dated the 26th February 2008.
